What?! More free screenings in Chicago next week? Capone has the details on THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS event!!!

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.

Wow, I sure am busy next week. And don't be surprised if I go four screenings in four days (including both GENTLEMEN BRONCOS and A CHRISTMAS CAROL on Monday). In other words keep an eye on the site in the days to come. I'm going to do my damnedest to get a few of the films I saw at Fantastic Fest to screen for AICN readers in Chicago. The other day, I posted a contest for GENTLEMEN BRONCOS, and I've got a line on a couple other films I saw that fateful week in Austin that will eventually open nationwide. But I'm also trying very hard to get a few of the unsigned films I saw here as well. There were some that were just too good to ignore, and thus I will not ignore them. This is more of a general announcement than any kind of preface to this particular contest, but I did see this film as one of Fantastic Fest's secret screenings. This Ain't It Cool News exclusive screening contest is for one of the year's smartest and funniest offerings, the based-on-a-true-story farce THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS, starring George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Spacey.

The screening of THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS will take place on Tuesday, November 3 at 6:00pm at a theater in downtown Chicago (the exact location will only be given to contest winners). Please note the early start time.

This wonderful film is about the U.S. Army's psychic soldier program known as the First Earth Battalion. McGregor plays a reporter slowly uncovering the details of the secret team with the help of one of its former members, played by Clooney, who has never been funnier. THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS was directed by Clooney's GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK co-writer Grant Heslov, and that's all you need to know at this point. I've got an entire theater to fill (about 200 seats), so here's how to claim your ticket good for you and a guest.

Send me an email at capone@aintitcoolmail.com with the subject line "NO GOATS. NO GLORY." In the body of the email, I need your Name, whether or not you're bringing a Guest (guests' names are not required), and the answer to the following question (read carefully): If you had psychic powers, how would you use them to benefit your country?

Please keep your answers BRIEF, limit them to 75 words or less (no matter how tempted you are to go over the limit). Winners will receive an email from me by the weekend. Good luck, everyone! Hope to see you there.
